In this resolution, the European Parliament highlights many of the problems that the Free Trade and Bilateral Investment Agreements pose in the different countries where they are signed. The link between trade, human rights, and social and environmental standards is clear, but there is a lack of mechanisms to enforce the rights of the most affected sectors.
